School of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales and BCIC collaborate through the Southshire Challenge

The students at The School of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales would like to thank Peter Odierna of BCIC for the opportunity to be a part of the Southshire Challenge. Participating in this was very fun and helped us learn more about businesses and the history of Bennington. Also, we learned more about writing slogans and how challenging they actually are. The one we picked was, “Benington County… Small Towns, Big Jobs.” The seventh grade class learned the expectations of finding the right job with the right qualities. We previewed the hard work and the commitment that people make to make Bennington a better place for all. Mr. Odierna was a big help in finding information and giving us a great experience at Kaman Composites. We would like to thank everyone that supported us in this challenge.
